I installed this pad on the rear and drove 3000km. I have heard that this pad is not effective if it does not have heat, but the brake rotor has heat even in street driving, so it works great. IIRC, the RX-01typeR (High grip tire) If you run the Circuit with the Tire, the braking power will be applied to the limit of Grip and Tire squeaks from 140km/h in cornering. My impression of the Brake Pads when installed is that they seem to be more controllable than gutsy. When the speed is too high, the Rear brake is used to control the speed. I don't think the controllability will change between OEM and Large.
