A Visit to Ulsan's J-Raceway: Korea's Premier Off-Road Experience Destination

Located in Ulsan, Korea Off-Road J-Raceway has been gaining attention as a destination for motocross and off-road riding. A recent visit showed that the venue is designed for riders of all levels, whether beginner or experienced, to enjoy the thrill of off-road safely.

Korea's first "Pit Bike Only Track" operation

J-Raceway is the first facility in Korea to feature a track exclusively for pit bikes, offering a safe environment to practice and ride. The site also includes a forest trail course, giving riders the feeling of riding over real mountain terrain.

Visitors can book in advance through Naver Reservation or KakaoTalk. Rental fees are:
・Pit Bike: 55,000 KRW for 1 hour / 180,000 KRW for 4 hours
・Off-Road Bike: 100,000 KRW for 1 hour
・Personal Bike (Members): 25,000 KRW parking fee

Available models include YCF pit bikes and standard off-road motorcycles. The facility provides basic protective gear, gloves, and balaclavas free of charge, and all riders receive safety training before heading out. This ensures even first-timers can get started with confidence.

The track itself is built and maintained by the operator using an excavator, allowing for varied riding conditions. After practice laps, riders can move on to the forest trail under the guidance of a coach for a safe off-road experience.

A unique off-road experience

Based on first-hand experience, the forest course proved even more exciting than track riding. After the ride, refreshments are offered so riders can relax and recharge.

Visitors can also check out a custom off-road vehicle built from a Daewoo Matiz and a newly developed buggy, which are rare sights in Korea that drew plenty of attention.

Future plans

J-Raceway plans to expand beyond bikes, aiming to become a comprehensive space for various off-road experiences. A representative commented: “We’re continuously improving the environment to ensure safe and unique off-road riding. We hope to welcome many riders from both Korea and abroad.”

During this visit, I also placed stickers on-site as a Webike official partner and carried out active promotion for Webike.
